Terms of use

The scope and intended use of ValidAPI’s educational guides, fictional technical examples, and linked references.

Using the reference material

ValidAPI.com provides educational explanations, workflow suggestions, and fictional technical examples. You may read and use the examples to discuss or prototype your own integration. Evaluate them against the requirements and behavior of the actual systems involved before using a similar design operationally.

No live verification agreement

Browsing the site or downloading a sample does not create an account, issue credentials, reserve production capacity, or establish a live API service agreement. Example route names and response shapes do not represent an available endpoint. The service scope explains these boundaries.

No substitute for a responsible review

The material is general technical and product-design guidance. It is not an individualized legal, compliance, security, identity-assurance, or eligibility determination. Use the responsible reviewers for the actual purpose, population, and deployment environment.

Accuracy and external sources

Reference material may need revision as methods and source documents change. Check the cited primary source and the actual provider’s documentation for your implementation. External organizations control their own resources; a link is not a partnership, endorsement, or promise of access.

Respectful and appropriate use

Do not use the contact channel to send identity documents, credentials, or personal datasets. Do not present the fictional examples as real results, imply that an unperformed check verified a person, or attribute unclaimed coverage and assurance to ValidAPI.

Content and third-party material

Site branding and original editorial content remain associated with ValidAPI.com. Third-party standards, names, and resources remain the responsibility of their respective owners. Consult the relevant rights and permissions before republishing another organization’s material.
